MUSIC CITIES: TOURISM MARKETING STRATEGIES AND BEST PRACTICES AROUND EUROPE – Panel in inglese promosso da Linecheck

Music is everywhere but not all cities are music cities. In this international panel we will examine the case of those towns that, starting from music, have influenced other sectors such as the social, cultural, creative and tourism ones, generating new economies and policies to support the music sector. Liverpool, Dusseldorf and Hamburg: 3 case studies to understand how to develop effective strategies for music tourism and how to create a distinctive image of the city starting from the local musical heritage. What elements should we focus on? Which models have proved effective and how can the strategy evolve in the future, addressing new targets?  We will discuss these topics with Chris Brown (Director Marketing Liverpool), Nora Will (Manager Market Development, Düsseldorf Tourism) and Everke Johannes (Director Marketing Services of Hamburg Marketing) moderated by Alice Feltro of Sound Diplomacy.
